Tour description
Sometimes the diversity of the trip is what it makes it special, that’s why this tour concentrates the best what two different regions offer. The first driving stage will take you to Bukovina Region where you will visit the famous Voronet Monastery, a landmark for this historical region. Its unique and old frescoes made the church of this monastery popular worldwide and it’s an attraction for which Romanian people are very proud.
South of Bukovina is located the land of Neamt which offers many spectacular places, but for this trip we will choose only two of them: Neamt Fortress and Agapia Monastery.
The fortress, many centuries ago was defending the Moldavian people against the invaders who may come from the western side of the Carpathian Mountains.
Close to the fortress there’s another beautiful monastery, Agapia, where Nicolae Grigorescu, the greatest Romanian painter spent three years to make this masterpiece that we enjoy today.
After all this nice visits is time to leave them behind for driving back to Iasi.
