What a service! We lucked out on about 10 companies (big brands) who wouldn't allow us to go into Moldova before finding the Travis team. From start to finish the service, communication and overall experience was great. We had a flight delay into Iasi so the team had me send my details on WhatsApp so they could prepare contracts ahead of arrival. Our originally booked car has issues but was swiftly upgraded to a very nice SUV by the team too. We seemingly messed up our refilling on return (make sure locals understand what you ask for and actually fill it up but the team messaged me and kindly asked for payment of the difference. Highly recommended - you can't go wrong!

My driver was Sami. He drove us (two elderly couple, my wife and I, and a small baby) around for three days. The experience was fantastic. Sami was great. He helped us with all we needed and most notably when we went to the Jewish cemetery and had a very hard time reaching a grave through the bushes. Had it not been for him, my dad probably would not have made it to his mother’s grave. So Sami, big thank you for making our Iasi experience so good!

Travis offers a great service, has attentive staff, and catered to all of our traveling needs in Romania. To begin with, we had a very unique requirement: an automated 9-seater as we have a big family with lots of luggage, which we wanted to pick up in Cluj and return 10 days later in Bucharest. None of the regular agencies had such a car available, but Travis did. We then asked for a special arrangement to have a driver pick us up from Brasov and drive us to Bucharest so we don't need to do the long trip in the middle of the night for our morning flight. No problem! Travis handled that as well. The pricing is competitive, the service is great, communication was fast and fully digital using emails and whatsapps, and I'd recommend Travis to anyone who needs travel related services in Romania. Great job folks!

I needed a car delivered on a short notice from Iasi to an address in Cluj and they brought it half an hour earlier than expected with no hiccups. Car was almost new and in perfect condition. מההתחלה ועד הסוף היו מצוינים. לקחתי מהם הצעת מחיר שהיתה גבוהה מאד לרכב מסוג אופל גרנדלנד. קבלתי הצעה באינטרנט מקלאס ווגן שהיתה נמוכה ביותר מ200 אירו. שלחתי להם במייל, והשוו את ההצעה (מומלץ תמיד לעשות סקר כזה). כמובן לקחתי מהם ביטוח על מלא מלא. לא לוותר ברומניה על ביטוח מלא. זה פתח להמון בעיות ועיכובים, ויכולים לבדוק כל שריטה קטנה. הקשר במייל עם סבסטיאן היה מצוין. הם אמינים וטובים. שימו לב שאפילו שעובדים רק עד 17,אין בעיה לקחת רכב גם ב12 בלילה, בביטוח מלא השעות האלה כלולות כמו גם השטיפה והניקיון של האוטו, שתהיו חייבים לשלם אם לא תקחו ביטוח. ביאש בונים טרמינל חדש ולכן לא לוקחים את הרכב מהשדה, אלא יש נסיעה עם מישהו מטראוויס כ10 דק' לחניה מחוץ לעיר. זה לא נורא כלל. תשמרו את הטלפון של הנציג שעוזר לכם כדי לתקשר איתו. אדיבים והשירות אחלה. קבלנו אוטו עם יותר מ100 אלף קמ, אז לא מהניילונים אבל עדיין מצוין ונקי. ראש שקט, אין לי מה להוסיף. קבענו עם הנציג בחזור, שלח מיקום לחניית הרכב והמתין לנו שם בזמן. מומלץ

We needed a rental car who allows a car to go to Moldova and Travis Rent a Car was the only one we could find. Paul really did a great job and they even pick the car up at our hotel. The only issue I will mention is that it is necessary to have an International Drivers License permit to get in and out of Moldova/Romania, so make sure you have one. Ours was expired but they still accepted it. Also, be very patient, as the border crossings are not easy. It took us almost two hours to get back into Romania. I highly recommend Travis Rentals. Returning customer here, both time I had a really nice experience with Travis Rent a Car Iasi. I’m visiting Romania every 2-3 years and I’m always looking for a good car, large enough for my baggages and comfortable for my family. Mr. Sebastian M. gave me several options and helped me choose the best car for my needs. I had the car delivered at OTP airport when my flight arrived even though it was past midnight. Sebastian was always on top, keeping me informed about who would deliver the car to me and who would take it back. Payment happened online via a link sent by Sebastian but the transaction was blocked initially. Had to talk with the credit card support to allow the transaction, so this is something to keep in mind when traveling. In terms of coverage I've got the FULL Cover package to have a stress free vacation, and that’s how it was :) Thanks

The person representing Travis called me immediately after the landing of the plane telling me that he is already waiting for me , even I arrived earlier. The car was in very good condition, new, clean no scratches and less than a month old. He explained how to start driving. Very good service. When I returned the car in Iasi the person who took the car kind' polite and professional. He helped to arrive at the gate with our rented car, in order to save time and effort with the luggage. Also here the service was very good. Overall the car was very good and exactly for our needs, the price was good and the service was wonderful. I would recommend Travis Rent a Car to anyone visiting the Iasi aria! They are conveniently located at the airport if you are flying in from out of town, and they also have an office in the city giving you options for where you would like to pick up your vehicle. A great bonus to their rental options is they will let you cross the boarder into Moldova (just make sure you select the option when you book the vehicle) unlike most of the other rental options I was considering. Lastly, and most importantly, their customer service was a 10 out of 10. I worked with Sebastian Motfolea, and he answered all of my questions and even resolved a problem that I created when I reserved my rental. Travis is now my go-to option any time I visit!

Calatoresc des in tara si de fiecare data apelez cu incredere la echipa Travis pentru a inchiria masini. Diversitatea de automobile din flota lor, angajatii respectuosi si procesul rapid de rezervare, mereu m-au atras sa apelez din nou si din nou la serviciile lor. Cu siguranta recomand serviciile lor si altor persoane care calatoresc din afara tarii sau celor care vor sa aiba parte de o experienta de neuitat la volanul unui bolid. My husband and I visited Romania for the first time. Arriving at Suceava airport, we saw an advertisement for this car rental company. After calling the company, 20 minutes later we were already served in the airport terminal with a car of the class and brand that we chose on the site! A very friendly and nice manager Bogdan told us all the nuances of car rental, and we were also pleased with the discounts on the website, so we took a car with full insurance in order to avoid additional costs in case of trouble and thus there was no need to leave a deposit with the rental company, since full insurance covers everything. The car was new and clean. And when returning the car, the manager of the company allowed to return the car before the end of the working day and personally took the car from our hotel. Definitely recommend this car rental company. There are no hidden fees waiting for you! Everything is transparent! We are happy to rent a car from this company again!

Thanks Travis, great job! 1st Rental: I was sceptical about using Travis Rent a Car simply because I’ve not come across them before and know little about them. I took a risk and booked our hire car for our trip to Iași. We met Mihai at the Travis desk within the terminal who quickly got us to our hire car. He was informative and very friendly, great representative for Travis and commend him for his customer service. Mihai brought out our hire car, a sparkling black 2 month old Audi A4. Best car we’ve ever got through a car hire company. The price of the hire was brilliant. More reasonable than the more renowned hire companies. Tips: 1. If you need to contact the company use WhatsApp or call. Texting didn’t work properly and wasn’t responded to. 2. If you’re returning the hire on a Sunday or out of hours call then first so someone can meet you at the office. 3. The Iași Palas Mall location doesn’t exist anymore but if you’ve booked that as a drop off you’ll find out when you pick up. No problem for us and there is a convenient drop off in the city. Constructive Feedback for Travis: - Might be worth removing the Iași Palas Mall location from the website if that is remaining closed. - Double check the glove box in the cars as there was some past hire stuff in there. Overall, a 5* experience and would recommend to anymore looking for a hire car. In future, where there is a Travis Rent a Car available in a location I’m visiting they’ll be my first choice any day!

I called and emailed 5 car rental companies and by far the most Professional service was offered to my by Sebastian Motfolea representing Travis. The initial phone call was courteous and polite. Sebastian was asking me relevant questions to determine the best car and value for my family. Given that it was a very busy weekend, I felt that Sebastian went above and beyond to gain me as a client. When I arrived in the Iasi airport with my family, Sebastian waited for me with the car as promised. Nothing was more rewarding than to see that the car was waiting for us in front after a 16 hour flight with a 1.5 year old and a 2.5 year old. The car was as described, clean and with the 2 car seats for the kids that I requested. During the trip I had a minor accident in the city. Sebastian answered his cell phone right away and walked me step by step through the process which was a major help for me given that I'm not very familiar with the right steps. After 2 weeks I dropped the car at the airport. The gentleman picking the car from me was extremely professional as well and made the process very smooth. Their service was simply outstanding. I booked a vehicle a month in advance. However, I realised I needed a bigger vehicle to acomodate 5 people on a long journey. Radu was exceptional alongside its colleagues when it came to amending my booking. When I arrived at the airport at 10:00 pm, the vehicle was there with a gentleman called Bogdan, ready to sign the paperwork. Bogdan was incredibly helpful, friendly and transparent with any previous damage recorded on the vehicle. When I returned the vehicle, another gentleman was waiting for me to collect the vehicle. Simply hassle free. All in all, the experience with this company has been incredible. If you are visiting Romania for business or pleasure and need a vehicle at the exact time required and at your requested location, this is the company to contact. Looking forward to using their service again in January 2022.

Am inchiriat Mazda Mx-5 de la Travis pentru un weekend, totul a fost foarte usor, rezervare si confirmare rapida on-line, preluare si predare rapida, doi soferi inclusi in pret. A fost o experienta placuta, vom mai apela la ei pe viitor. Recomand, au preturi bune si pentru masini mai "diferite" fata de masinile normale de inchiriat.
